Description
This is an exciting half-day activity that combines low-intensity trekking with rowing on a meandering river, ideal for those looking to immerse themselves in the nature of Tierra del Fuego without much physical effort.
The adventure kicks off with a gentle 40-minute hike (crossing native forests and peatlands), with each participant carrying a backpack with their 6 kg inflatable boat. The destination is the Mariposa Lagoon, where you'll inflate the boats and get a safety and rowing technique talk.
Then, you'll start an hour of paddling downstream, enjoying the calm of the water while the landscape of the Andes Mountains, with snow-capped peaks and glaciers, surprises you at every turn.
The group stops for lunch on a small river beach, where the Laguna Esmeralda stream connects with the Olivia. The second part of the tour runs between native forest and shrubs. It's a magical experience with a strong focus on enjoyment and caring for the environment
