This very demanding trekking allows you to visit two iconic places in the area: the Esmeralda Lagoon and the Ojo del Albino glacier. It is a trekking that allows you to know very varied ecosystems such as forests, valleys of peat bogs and high Andean vegetation. The first part of the hike is easy up to the lagoon and the forest that follows. Outside the vegetation limit we enter a rocky area where the ascent to the glacier begins. We cross boulders of different sizes before reaching the glacier and its lagoon. Unique landscapes and views of the Fuegian Andes. Distance: 18 km total. Positive elevation gain: 810 meters. Terrain: humid forest with mud and rocky terrain.
