Visit a husky farm, enjoy the Garibaldi viewpoint, Escondido and Fagnano lakes, an off-road circuit, a picnic and lunch with lamb on the spit, a quad bike ride, and an active castorera. A unique day! I invite you to imagine a unique adventure, crossing the Andes mountain range in a 4x4, where you'll discover the secrets that only the ancient lumberjacks and pioneers knew. From the moment we pick you up at your hotel, we'll take you on a journey full of stories and landscapes that will connect you with the true essence of our city in Tierra del Fuego. We'll head north (the opposite direction to the National Park) on National Route 3, crossing the majestic Carbajal Valley and all the winter resorts such as Tierra Mayor, Las Cotorras, and Cerro Castor. When you get to 'Rancho Hambre,' the last National Highway outpost, the epic adventure begins: climbing the mountain range. When you get to Paso Garibaldi, we'll stop at the top so you can enjoy the impressive views of Lago Escondido, which is framed by the two mountain ranges. It's a place where nature is at its best, with pure air and snow-capped peaks that create landscapes that will leave you speechless. We'll continue and descend along old roads that were opened by the axmen who worked in the lenga sawmills. You'll immerse yourself in the history of these pioneers as we pass by the old sawmills, witnesses to a past full of effort and dedication. Soon we'll arrive at Lake Fagnano, one of the longest lakes in Argentina, where the calm and immensity of the landscape will make you stop and breathe deeply. It's a moment of peace that you'll feel deep within. And to top it all off, enjoy an unforgettable lunch: choose whether to discover the flavor of our cuisine with Fueguino lamb on the stake (free-range), or delight in vegetarian versions, salad bars, and assorted pastas, while enjoying an Argentine wine or soft drinks. After lunch, enjoy the house's special coffee to build up your courage to continue the adventure. After lunch, we'll put on our helmets and hop on the off-road quad bikes to discover the most beautiful corners of the glacial valleys. And where vehicles can't go, we'll take a wonderful hike to an active beaver lodge to discover how these little animals shape the landscape. At the end of the day, we'll take you back to your hotel, but what you'll really take with you are unforgettable memories.
