Description
Our excursion starts at Ushuaia's Civic Square. In a double-decker bus that allows us to have the best views, we will tour the commercial center of the city. We will be able to appreciate most of the houses of the first settlers. Then, we enter the restricted area of the Naval Base, where the first public buildings of the city, the replica of the Lighthouse of the End of the World and the old Jail are located. From there and along Gobernador Paz Street we will go to the Paseo del Centenario, a panoramic viewpoint from where we can appreciate the mountain ranges that surround the city, as well as the islands on the other side of the Beagle Channel. We then go down to sea level to see the beached ship Saint Christopher and listen to its history. After an hour, the bus can drop you off at the Maritime Museum and Prison of Ushuaia, where you can take a guided tour. For winter season the service will take place in a single-decker bus and includes a hot chocolate at the panoramic stop.Includes
