Start the tour with an early morning pickup at your centrally located hotel in Tucumán. Board a comfortable bus or minivan (depending on the group size) and set off on your adventure into the stunning countryside surroundings.  Follow the scenic mountain road that joins Tucumán to Tafí del Valle. Pass by numerous sights of interest and geographical features including the San Jose del Monte Ruins (Lules Culture), De Los Sosa Gorge, 'el Indio', Menhires Park, La Angostura Lake, and el Mollar. Take advantage of the numerous incredible photo opportunities during the ride. Arrive in Tafí del Valle - a mountain village about 100 km from Tucumán. Find out about how the town's name derives from the indigenous word 'taktillkta' which means 'splendid entrance'.
