Welcome to the elegant Recoleta neighbourhood! At the indicated time, we'll meet at the plazoleta Carlos Pellegrini, where we'll start discovering this iconic neighbourhood.

Throughout the route, we will discuss not only the architecture, but also the history behind becoming the most prestigious neighbourhood in Buenos Aires. We will cover the aristocratic class of Buenos Aires and the motivations for constructing its impressive buildings. We will cross Alvear Avenue, site of the French Embassy and Brazilian Embassy, showcasing French influence in Buenos Aires architecture.

We will pass through the block of the three palaces, noting their three artistic styles, and reach the luxurious Hotel Alvear, reflecting the splendour of its notable guests. Next, we will proceed to the Pilar Church and the iconic Recoleta Cemetery, resting place of significant figures in Argentine history. After crossing Plaza Francia, we will arrive at the Law Faculty of the UBA, recognized as a symbol of knowledge in the city.

From the bridge of the faculty, we will have a view of the Floralis Genérica, a monumental metal sculpture that symbolizes innovation in Buenos Aires. The tour will conclude at the National Museum of Fine Arts, known for its extensive collection of local and international art.
