Estancia El Pico Palma in La Carrera Tupungato, is an estancia surrounded by the mountains of the majestic Cordon del Plata and the Pre Cordillera, this exclusive corner of the Andes is known as La Carrera Valley. The estancia is located at 2000 meters above sea level, has belonged to the Palma family for over 250 years, is a unique place to rest, attended by its owners to offer an unforgettable experience. 'Imagine waking up in an incomparable natural environment, surrounded by the majesty of the Andes Mountains and the Tupungato volcano. At Estancia El Pico, we invite you to experience the authenticity of our history and tradition, to connect with nature and to enjoy the exclusivity of our personalized attention. Join our community of nature lovers, respect for traditions and local community. Exclusive Country Day Reception in the hull with tea service, coffee and homemade pastries. Includes: Exclusive one and a half hour horseback rides on first class Criollo horses equipped with excellent saddles and traditional implements. The rides are enjoyed inside the ranch, in an environment of total privacy, through plantations, places with extraordinary landscapes and views, arriving with the horses at an altitude of 2400 meters, with a 360 degree view of the Cerro del Plata and the Tupungato Volcano, where you can take great pictures and enjoy the local flora and fauna. The horseback riding is guided by a local gaucho, and a bilingual tour guide who will tell you the history. Aperitif & Lunch: upon returning from the activities, visitors are welcomed at the owners' house, with an excellent tasting of homemade empanadas paired with high altitude wines, while waiting for a great 'asado criollo' with exclusively selected meats, fresh salads, vegetables baked in the clay oven and regional dessert. We are part of a slow tourism, where we offer local products and vegetables, all homemade. Transportation to the Estancia approximately 95 km from Mendoza City. Upon arrival at the owners' house you will be welcomed with coffee/tea. Then we start 2 hours of horseback riding with tame horses and comfortable saddles, through a path made between the mountain which guarantees the safety of our visitors. The rides are led by a local gaucho, accompanied by the bilingual hospitality manager. Upon arrival from the rides you will enjoy some tapas with local products and homemade empañadas in a clay oven. Lunch: Complete Asado Criollo with first class meats, homemade desserts, wine and water. The high altitude wines enjoyed with the meal are selected exclusively for our guests. After lunch coffee/tea service with homemade pastries. Afterwards we offer a unique experience: Perfumed wine experience, wine and perfume tasting, Showroom selling handmade products and handicrafts made by the community.Important Information
