Montevideo Transport: Ferry + BusAt your selected time, sail from Buenos Aires port on a fast ferry. In 1 hour and 15 minutes, arrive at the port in Colonia del Sacramento, where a bus will take you to Montevideo. The journey takes 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Once in Montevideo, explore the city at your own pace. Recommended sites include Plaza Independencia, Solís Theatre, and the Metropolitan Cathedral. Also visit the Mercado Agrícola, El Prado neighborhood, Playa Pocitos beach, and Estadio Centenario.
At the end of your visit, head to Tres Cruces Terminal on General Artigas Boulevard to take the bus back to Colonia del Sacramento, and then catch the ferry back to Buenos Aires.
