Description

We'll start picking you up at your accommodation in downtown Mendoza from 9:00 a.m. onwards, whether it's a hotel, apartment or Airbnb. As this is a private tour, we'll pick you up on time and without delays. The itinerary will start with the first visit at 9:30 am in the Maipú area. At Bodega Casa Corbel, a local guide will welcome us and explain the benefits of the place. After the visit, you can enjoy a country breakfast with infusions like tea, coffee, or the classic mate, accompanied by Mendoza pancakes, croissants, and/or Mendoza sopaipillas (fried cake), homemade jams, and toast. You'll have time to take photos and shop at the winery's store, which sells wines, flavored olive oil, local alfajores, and all kinds of preserves. The tour continues at Bodega Don Manuel Villafañe. First, you'll visit the calicata in the vineyards to learn about the Maipú terroir. Then, you'll head to the production area of this boutique winery, where modernity and steel are present. The tour ends in the barrel room where the reserva and gran reserva wines rest. Later, we'll start the Blending Game, playing with the different strains, measuring with test tubes until you get the bi- or tri-varietal you like. You'll design the label and take that wine as a gift. The day wraps up with a 3-course lunch, washed down with wine from the winery.
