Learn to Play Polo in Argentina

This immersive experience unfolds at La Carona Polo Club in Capilla del Señor, a one-hour drive from Buenos Aires. Prepare for an enriching day with an introduction to polo.

We'll pick you up at your hotel in Buenos Aires to set off to La Carona Polo Club. At this center, you'll practice polo, a popular equestrian sport where Argentina is a global leader.

We'll begin with a snack of empanadas and Argentine wine while the club's instructor offers an introduction to the game. Gain knowledge about the sport's origins and fundamental rules. Then, we'll visit the club's stables to meet specially selected polo horses.

You’ll witness a polo match featuring four chukkas, showcasing over 30 horses in a fast-paced display. This is an opportunity to deepen your understanding of polo rules during the match.

Following the match, we will enjoy a traditional Argentine barbecue lunch with various cuts of meat and Argentine wine. A vegetarian option is available.

After lunch, we'll take a walk around the estate, followed by a polo lesson to learn the basic rules, select horses, and play a polo game.

The day will conclude with a leisurely horse-drawn carriage ride around the ranch facilities, followed by your return to your hotel after approximately 8 or 9 hours.

This tour includes pickup in hotels located in Palermo, Recoleta, Microcentro, San Telmo, and Puerto Madero. If you're outside this area, we will contact you to establish an alternative meeting point.

Night Polo Experience

If you prefer to enjoy a polo match under the moonlight, you can opt for the nighttime polo experience in Capilla del Señor. This includes an Argentine dinner and transport from Buenos Aires if you're staying in the capital.
