Description
Begin with hotel pickup in El Calafate and a 47 km drive to Private Port La Soledad. Board the María Turquesa Cruise and navigate through Boca del Diablo, the narrowest part of Lake Argentino, toward the North Arm of the lake.
Travel along the Upsala Channel, passing massive icebergs and views of the Upsala Glacier. Continue through the Spegazzini Channel to see hanging glaciers including Dry, Heim Sur, and Peineta. Disembark at Las Vacas Post for a 30-minute guided forest walk featuring scenic landscapes.
Return to the cruise and sail to the towering Spegazzini Glacier, the highest in the park at 135 meters (440 ft) above the lake. Capture photos and observe the glacier’s scale and detail.
Conclude the cruise at the Perito Moreno Glacier. Disembark to explore walkways that provide close-up views of the glacier’s ice walls. After the visit, return to El Calafate by bus.
