The tour starts at 6:30 A.M. where you will be picked up at the Hotel. Then you will go to the border crossing 'Cancha Carrera' through a gravel road to enter the Republic of Chile. In this adventure through Chilean lands you will be able to enjoy the main attractions: the Sarmiento de Gamboa Lake Viewpoint, the Paine River Falls, the upper viewpoint of Almirante Nieto Hill/Cuernos del Paine, and the entrance to Laguna Amarga. Once inside the Torres del Paine National Park, you will be able to follow the different trekking trails, where, accompanied by local experts, you will be provided with a snack for lunch. One of the trails starts at the Salto Grande waterfall. There, together with the guide, you will embark on a low-difficulty hike of approximately 1:30 hours in total to the Mirador de los Cuernos del Paine on the shores of Lake Nordenskjold. Then, on the way back, you will take the road to Pehoé Lake, a last viewpoint, with impressive views of the Cuernos del Paine and the French Valley. You will be amazed by the impressive Torres del Paine and its National Park, and you can continue exploring and getting to know the southernmost part of Chilean Patagonia, learning about its flora and fauna on the way back to El Calafate, arriving at approximately 9:30 PM. Please note that there will be several hikes, the longest being approximately 1 hour and a half. It is recommended to be in good physical condition. The trip (round trip) is 540 km and includes 4 customs crossings (2 outbound and 2 return). The activity involves many hours of transportation. It is not recommended for small children.
