Description
Discover Dolavon from an authentic and unique perspective. This tour will take you through the historic center of the town, where you will explore its Welsh and native cultural heritage. We will walk through its streets to learn about the architecture and stories that have shaped its identity over the years. I will tell you stories collected from the first settlers, giving you a trip to the past full of memory and emotions.
In addition, I will share my knowledge in Mapuzungun, Welsh and Aonekko'a'ien, offering you a deep and meaningful vision of the cultural roots that are still alive in Dolavon. At the end of the tour, we will stop in a special corner to share a mate, the ritual that unites people in this land. This experience is not just a walk, it is an immersion in the essence of Patagonia, from a perspective off the beaten path and away from traditional tourist marketing.
The activity begins in the central square of Dolavon, an easy access point located in the heart of the town. There we will meet punctually at the agreed time, and after a brief introduction about the tour, we will start our cultural experience.
The tour ends in a specially chosen space where we will share a mate and reflect on what we have learned. It is important to wear comfortable clothes and footwear suitable for walking. No special physical abilities are required; the activity is suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
Transportation to and from Dolavon is not included, so it is recommended to coordinate in advance the means to get to the starting point. If you need assistance in organizing your transportation, I will be happy to help you with recommendations.
Be sure to come eager to learn and immerse yourself in an authentic cultural experience that will connect you with Patagonia at its deepest.
