Description
Experience the vibrant heart of old Buenos Aires on our Cultural Immersion by Bike — a 4-hour guided ride through the city’s most iconic and historic neighborhoods. Designed for curious travelers, this tour is perfect for those who want to understand Buenos Aires beyond its surface.
Riding in a small group of no more than 6 people, and led by a passionate local host, you'll cycle through the city center, San Telmo, La Boca, and Puerto Madero. Each stop adds a new layer to the city's story — filled with culture, contrasts, and character.
We begin in the historical core of the city, with our first major stop at Plaza de Mayo — the political heart of Argentina. Here, you’ll hear how this symbolic square has shaped the country’s past and present. From there, we ride into the cobbled streets of San Telmo, one of the city’s oldest and most atmospheric neighborhoods, known for its antique shops, street art, and bohemian soul.
Next, we head to La Boca, where immigrant roots, soccer passion, and artistic flair come together. You'll see the iconic Boca Juniors stadium, stroll along the colorful Caminito street museum, and hear about the area's unique character and ongoing cultural traditions.
Our last stop is Puerto Madero, Buenos Aires’ newest and most modern neighborhood. We ride alongside restored docks and sleek architecture, contrasting with the historical areas visited earlier. It's a great place to reflect on how the city has changed — and continues to evolve.
Along the way, we pause often — not just for photos, but to talk, ask questions, and connect. One special moment is our traditional mate tasting. You’ll learn how this beloved Argentine drink is prepared and shared, and why it’s such a strong part of local culture. It’s a relaxed, social break where we chat about customs, daily life, and whatever questions you may have.
Our bikes are equipped with gears and shocks to ensure a comfortable ride, and helmets are provided. The pace is easygoing, and the terrain is mostly flat, so anyone who enjoys biking can take part.
This isn’t just a sightseeing tour — it’s a cultural immersion. You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of Buenos Aires, seen through the eyes of a local and experienced on two wheels.
