Description
We start at the Avenida de Los Incas and the embassy area. This avenue is particular for its stone streets and sculptures, besides having consular houses of Middle Eastern countries and English mansions. We will talk about the Argentinean upper class and its influence on history and culture. We will walk towards the Mitre train tracks in the Belgrano R (Residential) area. We will drink yerba mate in a quiet square full of trees. We cross Cabildo Avenue and its chaos. We go down to Juramento Avenue and explore the historic center of Belgrano, its square, its cathedral and the Larreta Museum (Spanish Art). We will make a quick visit to the museum and then walk to Chinatown where we will have a coffee, while learning about the history of Asian immigration in Argentina. We finish the tour at the Barrancas de Belgrano Park.
