Description

Depart from Bariloche and head south along Route 40 for approximately 70 km on a paved road. Enjoy the landscape of lakes and mountains. After crossing the Villegas River, turn onto a gravel road for approximately 27.5 km, entering the Manso Valley until you reach the base camp, Camping Tierra Aventura. Be welcomed with a delicious breakfast to ensure you have energy to paddle. After breakfast, gear up with neoprene wetsuits so you can get wet from head to toe. Once equipped, the van will transport you a short distance to the embarkation point. Receive a safety briefing before boarding the raft to begin the adventure. Navigate a 12km stretch through the lower Manso section to the Chilean border. In this part of the river, the rapids are more powerful and adrenaline-pumping. During the journey, enjoy the natural beauty of the Manso Canyon and several spectacular rapids: El Cajón de Terciopelo, Agujero de Ozono, Gritá y doblá a la izquierda, el Tobogancito, Garganta Profunda, Éxtasis, Huevo Revuelto, and Colmillo. The brave will also have the opportunity to swim in the calm pools. The guides will encourage you to play in the water, but it won't be mandatory. Upon reaching the border with Chile, finish the navigation. After removing your equipment, drying off, and changing, return by van to the camping area where you'll have time for lunch. After the rest and lunch period, return to Bariloche with a new vacation story to share.
