Description

We will enjoy an exciting and entertaining experience, designed for all ages who want to make the most of it. It is not every day that we have the opportunity to travel in a 4x4 vehicle and explore the southern trails and landscapes of the sub-Antarctic forest, composed of lenga, ñire, and coihue trees, in such a unique way. We will be picked up at our accommodation in the morning and head north on National Route 3, the only land route connecting the Isla Grande de Tierra del Fuego with the mainland, crossing valleys that become the scene of snow activities in winter. In summer, the forest is dressed in different shades of green. After crossing the Andes Mountains via the iconic Garibaldi Pass, we will begin our 4x4 adventure. We will travel along impressive roads of mud, water, fallen trees, and roots emerging from the ground until we reach the majestic coast of Lake Fagnano, one of the five largest lakes in South America and a large freshwater reserve. After enjoying the special energy of this place and taking the best photographs, we will resume our journey into the forest on an exclusive hike that will take us to Lago Escondido. There, in our refuge, we will enjoy a typical meal (meat) prepared by our tour guides and drivers, accompanied by free drinks to share with the group. After lunch and a leisurely afternoon, we will conclude this incredible adventure in the southernmost reaches of the continent, satisfied by a memorable day, and return to Ushuaia, where this wonderful experience began.
