We visited Fabio’s bar on a quiet Sunday and had a great evening. He played us some cool rock from all over the world and joined us for a beer. He was more like a host and a friend than a bartender and owner and has an infectious laugh and brilliant sense of humour. Made my night
Buenos Aries is a city that prides itself on bars that immerse themselves on both the craft beer and cocktail scene. Though impressive in imagination there aren’t many that speak to my soul. That’s where Rock & Beer enters the conversation. Situated behind a gated alleyway it doesn’t exactly scream a welcoming vibe. It’s no frill, Rock and Dive energy is perhaps not everyone’s cup of tea. I personally love that style of bar so being here makes me happy. Here is the thing with this bar though. If you make the effort and scratch the surface a little you will find one of the few bars in BA where you will get treated like a local. From Fabio down to Walli, Lukas and Leonardo there is a collective there that will really enhance your BA experience. Don’t do what I did and sleep on this bar my first cpl of trips. Go in make some friends, drink some beer and eat some pizza. It will quickly become your BA home
