Immerse yourself in the purest and least explored jungle of Misiones, within the Urugua-í Provincial Park, the largest protected area in the province and one of the last refuges of the tapir, the yaguareté, and hundreds of species of birds. Accompanied by a specialized guide, you'll walk among centuries-old trees, vines, ferns, and wild orchids, discovering the living pulse of the jungle. You'll hear toucans, arasaris, and magpies singing, while traces of mammals are revealed on the trail. The tour culminates in a natural viewpoint, from where, with some luck and patience, you can observe tapirs, peccaries, deer, and monkeys in their habitat. An authentic, silent experience deeply connected to the nature of Misiones. What you'll do - Early departure from your hotel in Iguazú (6:00 am). Start the day with a trip of approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes on routes 12 and 19, crossing local farms with typical crops of the region such as yerba mate and tea. - Enter the Urugua-í Provincial Park, at the Urutaú Detachment. Walk with a specialized guide along the jungle trails, where the sounds of birds, the aromas of native plants, and lush vegetation all come together. - Hiking and birdwatching: discover toucans, arasaris, tanagers, magpies, and other species that inhabit this protected ecosystem. - Exclusive viewpoint for mammals: reach a privileged observation point, with chances to see tapirs, peccaries, deer, and monkeys in their natural environment. Keep quiet to increase your chances of sighting. Picnic lunch in the park: enjoy a break surrounded by nature and views of the jungle. Wrap up the experience by heading back to Iguazú and your hotel.
