I spent New Year’s Eve at Crystal Bar and chose their rooftop package to enjoy the countdown. The package included drinks and desserts, and everything was delicious. The highlight of the evening was the fantastic rooftop view overlooking Buenos Aires. Watching the fireworks light up the city at midnight was an unforgettable experience. If you’re looking for a special place to celebrate New Year’s Eve in Buenos Aires, I highly recommend Crystal Bar.
A Memorable Birthday Night at Crystal Bar! I discovered Crystal Bar while looking for restaurants in Buenos Aires to celebrate my birthday on November 19 during my vacation in Argentina. I chose Crystal Bar because of the beautiful views of Puerto Madero. The information online said the restaurant opens at 6:00 p.m. and that reservations are not required. Since Argentinians usually eat dinner late, we thought arriving at 7:00 p.m. would allow us to get a nice table with a view. That did not happen. All of the tables with views were already taken, so we were seated at the eastern end of the restaurant, overlooking the residential side of Puerto Madero. The restaurant was very elegant and the service was excellent, so we were not too disappointed about missing the ideal view. I should have researched the menu more carefully because there were limited vegetarian options available for dinner. The cocktails were outstanding and the atmosphere, including the electronic chill music, was perfect. One challenge is the layout of the tables. It is difficult to take photos of the Puerto Madero views without disturbing other guests unless you are seated at one of the view tables. Although my birthday dinner turned out differently than I expected, the ambiance, service, great cocktails and reasonable prices made the experience worthwhile. Next time, I will arrive when the restaurant opens and I will study the menu more closely. Thank you for a memorable birthday.
