My experience at Los Laureles in Mendoza was mixed, but unfortunately leaned more toward the negative side overall. When I first walked in, the atmosphere felt very dark and dull. The place seemed poorly maintained, with broken and old objects scattered around, and the decoration didn’t come together in any appealing way. It was unclear what kind of style they were going for, but it didn’t work. I was greeted by a woman who came across as unfriendly and in a bad mood. Her facial expressions and attitude made for a poor first impression, and although the service improved slightly as the meal went on, her demeanor remained cold and unwelcoming. It felt like she lacked basic customer service skills: a bit more simplicity and a smile would go a long way instead of seeming judgmental toward guests. On the positive side, the food was good, which is ultimately the most important aspect of any restaurant. However, the overall experience was not enjoyable enough to make me want to return.

A really cozy place! The service was excellent and we found a very suiting wine. We had the Milanese which was alright, but with potatos and no sauce it was a little dry.

We came here for an early dinner, the waitress had an awesome vibe and was very attentive. The idea is relaxed, homemade, there’s even a selection of games you can play or song requests. The food is clearly thought out; from farm to table, fresh and with love. We ate the papardelle and the pastel de mila; both were delicious! Also reccomend the Buscapleito Cabernet franc from La Azul 😋

A great restaurant in Mendoza downtown. A wide range of meat, pasta and vegetables options cooked with love by a lively couple! I tried the milanesa and the empanadas and I needed to come back the next day to try the pumpkin stuffed ravioli. Definitely a place to go if you want good food with great cocktails and outstanding staff.
