DescriptionStart your full-day tour from the tourist pier and cross Ushuaia Bay to reach the Beagle Channel. Sail around Bird’s Island and appreciate the rich bird life of Tierra del Fuego, including skuas, black-browed albatrosses, steam ducks, and more. Continue to Sea Lion’s Island and see the 2 species that inhabit the island. Arrive at Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse and see the cormorant colonies that live there. Sail eastward, enjoying the wonderful landscape of the channel and the mountains that surround it. See Puerto Almanza and the Puerto Williams Naval Base, then continue to Isla Martillo to admire a penguin colony. Disembark at Harberton Ranch to enjoy a tour of the shearing shed, the carpentry, the boat house, and the house garden. Then relax in the Manacatush tea house, or visit the Acatushún Austral Marine Mammal and Birds Museum (not included). At the end of the tour, board the bus and return by land to the tourist pier.
