Tilcara destaca por su Pucará (fortaleza en altura) cuyas ruinas han sido parcialmente. Uquía muestra su capilla, edificada en el siglo XVII, trabajado en oro laminado, Humahuaca da nombre a la Quebrada y es su mayor población, con calles adoquinadas y farolas de hierro en las esquinas, es también el punto más alto del recorrido, 2.940 m.s.n.m. Principales atractivos: El Monumento a la Independencia, Iglesia Catedral y Edificio Municipal. San Salvador de Jujuy, Quebrada de Humahuaca: Volcán, Tumbaya, Purmamarca (Cerro de los 7 colores), Maimará (Paletas del Pintor), Tilcara, Huacalera (Trópico de Capricornio), Uquía y 2 horas libres en Humahuaca.
