Description

A day trip to both sides of Iguazu Falls offers an unforgettable experience, showcasing one of the world's most spectacular natural wonders. Here's a detailed description of what you can expect: Arrival at Iguaçu National Park (Argentine side)*: Start your day early and arrive at the entrance to Iguazú National Park as soon as it opens (usually around 8am). Tickets not included, can be purchased at the park. Train ride to the trails*: Let's go to the park's ecological train that will give us access to the main trails, including the Superior Circuit and the Devil's Throat. The train ride immerses you in the surrounding rainforest, where you'll have the chance to spot a unique array of wildlife. Devil's Throat (Garganta do Diabo) This is the most iconic point of the falls, where you can walk along walkways that stretch over the edge. The impressive view and the roar of the falling waters make this an experience that will remain etched in your memory. Upper circuit Start your journey along the Circuito Superior, a trail made up of walkways that offer incredible panoramic views of the waterfalls from above. Along the route, you will find several viewpoints, each revealing the impressive volume of water cascading into the river below. Around noon : break for lunch Take a lunch break at one of the park's restaurants or picnic areas, where you can sample Argentine dishes and prepare for the afternoon's activities. Now let's continue our expedition only on the Brazilian side. Have your passport ready for the border crossing. The process is generally quick. Iguaçu National Park (Brazilian side) The Brazilian side offers an immersive view of the falls, highlighting their grandeur. Hike trails that lead to several viewpoints, including the panoramic view of Devil's Throat, where mist and rainbows create incredible photo opportunities. As you walk, observe the rich wildlife on the Brazilian side, with colorful birds, butterflies and playful coatis. For a touch of adventure, try the optional boat tour that brings you closer to the Falls. This exciting experience allows you an intimate view of the falls and is also very likely to get wet, making the tour even more exciting!
