Description
Take a one-day break from the hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires to explore Iguazú National Park with this private, full-day adventure. *Devil´s Throat (Garganta del Diablo) circuit is momentarily closed due to repairs of the passageways, that were washed out during the heavy rains in October. Inferior and Superior circuits are opened and operate normally The service starts at the International Airport Ezeiza (EZE) or the Local Airport Aeroparque (AEP) to take your flight. When you land after a roughly two-hour flight, you will meet your guide and board a private vehicle equipped with air conditioning to head to Iguazu National Park while your guide provides you with an overview of the region. After a 15-minute drive, you will arrive at the visitors center at the entrance of Iguazú National Park and skip the line with your reserved tickets. First, you will go to the Nature Interpretation Center to learn more about the foundation of the park and its local flora and fauna. Then, you will jump aboard the park train with your guide, stopping at the Cataratas Station after an eight-minute trip. If you prefer, you can also get to the station on foot, following the green path towards the Upper and Lower trails. While you walk along the path, you will be amazed by the magnitude of the waterfalls on the Argentinian side. The trails are perfectly placed and easy to walk, offering visitors spectacular views of this natural wonder. At midday, follow your guide to the food center and enjoy a little rest and lunch (not included) before taking the train to the Garganta del Diablo Station, further into the forest. Garganta del Diablo (The Devil’s Throat) is the biggest fall in Iguazu National Park, and the catwalks take you right on top of it! Be surprised by the strength and volume of water, which creates a permanent fog above the fall. Since this is a private tour, you can determine the order in which you’d like to view the park’s attractions and set the pace that suits you. After spending a day astonished by the park’s many falls and discovering more about this natural treasure, your guide will take you back to the Puerto Iguazu Airport in a private vehicle to take your flight back to Buenos Aires. -The flights departure time depends on availability and is usually very early in the morning.
