Description
We start at a historical café talking about the Argentine-British relationships, economy in the 1800s and how all this golden era started.
Then we see about the ideas and politics of that time from a nice bookshop and a small museum.
After that we walk through Galería Güemes and other architecture marvels talking about immigrants, businesses and urban development.
After crossing Plaza de Mayo we talk about the common people, how they lived, where they came from, what they wore, how they looked like, what they consumed, and so on.
We walk through a beautiful gallery to end up at the historical Perú Subte Station, Buenos Aires most nostalgic underground station.
Then we visit my office at the iconic Palacio Barolo, where I have some things to show from charming old times.
Throughout the way you can make your questions and I will show you old pictures at the very locations. Highlighting what remains, and what (sadly or happily) changed.
