Description
We invite you to enjoy a unique experience in one of the most enchanting corners of Patagonia. We begin by searching for hotels to start our journey to the majestic Challhuaco Valley, a natural environment of imposing beauty, surrounded by a thousand-year-old forest of lenga trees that in winter is covered with a fascinating white blanket.
Upon arrival at the mountain refuge, our tour guide will welcome us and explain the details of the activity. Then, we will equip ourselves with special snowshoes and begin a peaceful and accessible hike of just over 30 minutes, perfect for connecting with nature and enjoying the fresh air, the silence of the forest, and the magic of the snowy landscape.
Back at the refuge, a special moment awaits us: a regional gastronomic tasting that includes Patagonian cold cuts and cheeses, artisanal smoked meats, homemade bread, red wine, craft beer, and, for those who wish, a final touch of cognac or whiskey. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available for those who prefer something lighter.
As the perfect ending, the most fun part arrives: the sledding descent! For about 40 minutes, we will feel like kids again, sliding down the snow in a safe and natural environment, with spectacular views at every turn.
Then, we will return to the hotel with our hearts full of landscapes, flavors, and unforgettable moments.
